Dear Customers,

01 April 2020

We’re still keeping on!
We are still open for business so please continue to order your photobooks and gifts. The whole team at Photobookshop appreciate your ongoing support. We love our jobs because we get to make your memories into books and gifts you can cherish and show generations to come.

Why create a photobook?
Photos remind us of the people, places and activities we love.
There is no doubt that recording your experiences in life can help increase your happiness and improve your health. Studies have shown that as our memory fades over time, records like photobooks help us recall these special moments.

Photos help us remember the past.
Now more than ever we need to let go of the negatives in our life and focus on the positives. Relive the positive times you’ve had. Appreciate how far you’ve come by documenting your accomplishments.

Your Photobook can act as a diary.
A photobook is a great way to hold onto and record your memories. Use your photos to record the little moments that are easily forgotten. Take photos of everyday life, not just special occasions.

Safe delivery practices:
Due to the New Zealand shutdown all of our New Zealand orders are being produced in Australia. There will be a delay in getting these orders to you.
Our delivery partners, New Zealand Post & Fastway have implemented new guidelines and delivery options so we can continue to safely deliver your products. All have communicated to us that they are taking the necessary precautions and all have implemented a no-touch delivery option.

Stay Safe Everyone,

What a week it’s been! We, along with most businesses are taking it day by day and we wanted to give you all an update on a few things.

You can continue to be assured that we are doing all we can to stay healthy so we can keep making those orders that you have sent us. Just on that note, a massive thank you for sending those orders. To bring you a little closer to our little world at PhotobookShop, we have weekly staff meetings and we recently introduced a “share your happiest moments in life” and “what are you most grateful for” session just to break away from the bleak news we all see in the media. We all had a bit of a giggle at some of the “happiest moments” that were thrown up, we might share those at another time, but the messages from our staff from a gratitude point of view link back to your orders, so again, thank you from all of us.

Remember, we’re all in this together and if you look closely enough you can still find some good that’s happening in the world. Just look at Tom Hanks. He has learnt how to eat vegemite properly.

25 March 2020

We at PhotobookShop NZ are committed to providing a high standard of service to you, our customers, and also a safe workplace for our team and we have been closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and taking appropriate action based on the advice of the Australian Government and World Health Organisation.

While we have always had strict hygiene practices and cleanliness standards, we have implemented an Infection Control Policy in order to keep our staff and customers safe. Our staff have been advised to follow safety protocols including an increase in handwashing and sanitization, the minimization of physical contact wherever possible and staying home if they feel unwell. The Infection Control Policy also extends to the limiting of external visitors which sees a dramatic change in how our transport deliveries are handled ensuring there is little or no contact during this process. Unfortunately the limiting of external visitors extends to our ability to offer a pickup service to customers so we have removed the pickup option from our checkout page until further notice.

As we navigate through these difficult and testing times we envisage that this may lead to an increase in production times and we thank you in advance for your patience.

We would also like to assure you that we have sufficient stock in all departments and it is business as usual!

As we learn more each day, we want you to know that we are taking immediate action. We will continue to keep you updated as we monitor the situation.

Kind Regards,
Peter Thomas & The PhotobookShop NZ Team
